On the morning of July 23, 2026, the UIT Men’s Volleyball Team competed in the championship match of the volleyball tournament at the 2026 Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) Student Sports Festival, facing the team from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Up against a strong and experienced opponent, the UIT players delivered a determined performance, showcasing impressive rallies, coordinated teamwork, and a resilient fighting spirit until the very last point.

Concluding an inspiring campaign at this year’s tournament, the UIT Men’s Volleyball Team proudly secured the Runner-up title, marking a memorable season filled with achievement and emotion.

From finishing top of Group B and overcoming the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the semifinals to reaching the championship match, the UIT athletes consistently demonstrated teamwork, determination, and a strong drive to compete at their best.
