CONGRATULATIONS TO UIT ALUMNUS ON SECURING A FULLY FUNDED GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN TAIWAN
TeamQ, Wanna.W1n Club, and the Information Security Laboratory would like to congratulate Nguyen Hoang Duy, a TeamQ member and alumnus of the Information Security program (Class of 2022, Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications), on his outstanding admission offers from two leading universities in Taiwan.
Hoang Duy was admitted to the M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science program at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), one of Taiwan’s top three universities and ranked #177 worldwide in the QS World University Rankings 2027.
He was also admitted to the M.S. in Computer Science and Information Engineering program at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST – Taiwan Tech), one of Taiwan’s top five universities and ranked #379 worldwide in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

A PROUD MILESTONE AND A NEW BEGINNING AT TAIWAN TECH
Hoang Duy has chosen to continue his academic journey at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST – Taiwan Tech) with a fully funded scholarship, including a 100% tuition waiver and a monthly living allowance of NTD 12,000. His prospective research will focus on the reliability and security of AI-based systems.
During his time as a member of TeamQ at Wanna.W1n Information Security Club and the Information Security Laboratory, Hoang Duy conducted research on the safety and security of artificial intelligence systems. His work resulted in a research paper published in a Q3-ranked international journal.
He later continued exploring the application of AI in cybersecurity through his graduation thesis, entitled “An Automated Multi-Agent Penetration Testing Framework for Multi-Environment Vulnerability Exploitation Detection and Validation.” The thesis received high recognition from the evaluation committee, earning a defense score of 9.1.
Beginning his new journey at NTUST marks a significant milestone for Hoang Duy and represents another important step forward in his academic and professional development in an international education and research environment.
WHY NTUST – TAIWAN TECH?
Behind Hoang Duy’s decision is a university with a strong academic standing and reputation in Taiwan.
According to the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, NTUST – Taiwan Tech is ranked #46 in Asia and #5 in Taiwan, while also holding the #1 position among Taiwan’s technical and vocational universities. In the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2026, NTUST is ranked #86 in Asia and #5 in Taiwan.
Beyond its rankings, Taiwan Tech stands out for its strong connection between academia and industry, achieving a score of 97.8/100 for industry engagement and knowledge transfer. This close integration of academic research and real-world applications is among the factors that make NTUST an attractive destination for students pursuing advanced studies and research in technology.
From a TeamQ member participating in information security research projects to a graduate student at Taiwan Tech, Hoang Duy’s journey is more than a transition to a new academic environment. It demonstrates how knowledge, experience, and sustained effort can open the door to greater opportunities.

TEAMQ – FROM SMALL EXPERIENCES TO BIGGER JOURNEYS
Every TeamQ member follows a different path.
Some continue pursuing academic research, some begin their careers in industry, while others choose to further their studies and professional development abroad.
What they share, however, is a spirit of proactive learning, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.
Hoang Duy’s achievement is also one of the stories TeamQ hopes to share as a new academic year begins:
What we start today can become a gateway to greater opportunities in the future.
Once again, TeamQ congratulates Nguyen Hoang Duy on this remarkable milestone.
We wish Hoang Duy a rewarding journey filled with valuable experiences, continued success, and new achievements at NTUST – Taiwan Tech.
