Tuoi Tre Newspaper has highlighted the strong support of universities across Ho Chi Minh City for the 2026 “Tiep Suc Den Truong” (Give Strength to Students) Scholarship Program. To date, participating universities have pledged 252 scholarships, including seven special scholarships, along with 10 laptops, with a combined value of more than VND 4 billion.

The University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UIT), is contributing 20 scholarships for incoming students facing financial hardship. Notably, shortly after the initiative was launched, the UIT Board of Rectors decided to provide an additional 10 scholarships, bringing the University’s total contribution to 20.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang, Rector of UIT, shared:

“What makes the ‘Tiep Suc Den Truong’ program particularly meaningful is that each scholarship reaches a specific student, with a specific story and a specific dream. When support reaches the right person at the moment they need it most, the value of a scholarship extends far beyond its financial worth. That is why UIT believes in and is committed to supporting this program.”

For UIT, each scholarship represents more than financial assistance. It is also a message of encouragement to freshmen who have worked hard to reach the university gates, providing them with additional support to continue their education and pursue their aspirations.
