The team from University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UIT) secured Third Prize in the Martial Arts Performance (Võ nhạc) event at the 2026 VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival. Combining martial arts techniques, music, synchronized formations, and teamwork, UIT athletes delivered an energetic performance, adding another achievement to the University’s student sports record.

When martial arts meets music

Martial Arts Performance requires athletes not only to execute martial arts techniques accurately but also to maintain rhythm, synchronization, and coordination throughout the entire routine. Each movement must demonstrate technical precision while remaining connected to the music and other team members to create a cohesive performance.

At the 2026 VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival, the UIT team demonstrated strength in every movement, synchronization across formations, and confident control of their routine, earning Third Prize in the event.

The achievement reflects a dedicated training journey, from refining individual techniques and adjusting formations to developing seamless coordination among team members. The few minutes spent performing on the competition floor were therefore the result of countless hours of practice, collective commitment, and shared responsibility.

Another milestone for student sports at UIT

Alongside academic and research activities, UIT places importance on creating opportunities for students to participate in sports, cultural programs, and extracurricular activities that promote physical well-being, personal development, and meaningful experiences throughout their university journey.

Participating in a team-based event such as Martial Arts Performance also helps students develop discipline, perseverance, coordination, and teamwork. These qualities are strengthened through training and competition, contributing to students’ holistic development beyond the classroom.

Winning Third Prize in Martial Arts Performance at the 2026 VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival adds another achievement to UIT’s record in university-level sports competitions. More importantly, behind every award lies a journey of dedication, team spirit, and the determination of students proudly representing UIT.

Congratulations to the UIT Martial Arts Performance Team on this achievement at the 2026 VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival!
