VNU-HCM Announces Leadership Appointments
for the University of Information Technology
On June 5, 2026, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) held a ceremony to announce and present leadership appointment decisions.
The University of Information Technology (UIT), VNU-HCM, extends its sincere congratulations to the following faculty members on being entrusted with new leadership responsibilities:
Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang, Ph.D. – Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University of Information Technology.

Assoc. Prof. Vu Duc Lung, Ph.D. – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the University of Information Technology.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Luu Thuy Ngan, Ph.D. – Vice President of the University of Information Technology.

These appointments not only recognize the dedication, expertise, and valuable contributions of the University's leaders over the years, but also reflect the confidence placed by VNU-HCM in UIT's leadership team as the University enters a new stage of development.
Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the University of Information Technology (2006–2026), the appointments mark an important milestone in the institution's ongoing journey. With their vision, commitment to innovation, and aspiration for excellence, the University's leadership team is expected to continue guiding UIT toward sustainable growth and strengthening its position as a leading center for education, research, and innovation in information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
