Competition details:
Time and location:
- From March to June 2024.
- Location: University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City.
Requirements: Students develop products such as applications with practical or scientific applicability, aiming to benefit users and can be downloaded and installed on mobile devices (mobile apps) or accessed via the Internet (web apps, websites).
Participants:
- Students from the Software Engineering Faculty or other faculties (under University of Information Technology) who are interested and approved by the organizing committee.
- Students from other Faculty (under University of Information Technology) who are interested and approved by the organizing committee.
Registration:

- Time: From March 20th to March 31st, 2024.
- Team size: minimum 01 member, maximum 06 members.
Key time milestones:
- Weeks 01 – 02 (From March 20th to March 31st, 2024): Registration form opens.
- Weeks 03 – 11 (From April 1st to June 2nd, 2024): Students register and develop applications, then upload them to the CHPlay/AppStore of the Department.
- Week 12 (Week of June 3rd, 2024): Department's council evaluates and announces exhibited products.
- Week 13 (Week of June 10th, 2024): Preparation and organization of the exhibition of selected applications. Users experience the products and provide feedback.
- Week 14 (Week of June 17th, 2024): Scoring, announcement of winning products, and awarding prizes.
Evaluation criteria:
- Scientific value and practical application: 50%.
- Completeness: 20%.
- User-friendly, ease of use, and user experience: 20%.
- Presentation of reports and results: 10%.
Scoring method (for exhibited products):
- Likes and shares: 20%.
- Votes via form: 20%.
- Judges' scores: 60%.
Prizes:
- Awards for applications: including cash prizes, certificates of merit, and gifts.
- 01 First Prize: 5,000,000 VND.
- 01 Second Prize: 2,000,000 VND.
- 02 Third Prizes: 1,000,000 VND each.
- 03 Encouragement Prizes: 500,000 VND each.
- 01 Prize for the most downloaded: 500,000 VND.
- 01 Prize for the most liked/shared: 500,000 VND.
- Awards for the audience:
- 01 Prize for the most accurate vote: 500,000 VND.
