UIT's Outstanding Students Enter the Finals of the International Autonomous Vehicle Competition for Two Consecutive Years

After surpassing the preliminary rounds, the UIT team consisting of students from UIT has excellently achieved the best results among teams from Vietnam. Additionally, the UIT team, along with 2 other teams from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) and Lac Hong University, will have the opportunity to participate in the finals of the competition held in Romania from May 14, 2024, to May 20, 2024.

The Bosch Future Mobility Challenge 2024 (BFMC) is an international autonomous vehicle competition for students organized by the Bosch Technical Center in Romania since 2017.

Every year, the competition invites student teams from all over the world to develop algorithms for connecting and driving autonomous vehicles on 1:10 scale RC car models provided by Bosch, to control them in a simulated environment of a miniature smart city.

Students work on their projects with the collaboration of Bosch experts and lecturers at universities to develop algorithms related to autonomous driving control and propose solutions for self-driving cars in the next step.
