University of Information Technology Signs Cooperation Agreement with Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank)
On 04 February 2026, the University of Information Technology (UIT), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), held a signing ceremony to formalize a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank). The event marked an important milestone, opening up new opportunities for strategic collaboration and development for both institutions.
The ceremony signified the official partnership between UIT and PVcomBank.
Representing PVcomBank at the event were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Regional Director for North Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast Region, and Ms. Dang Thi Khieu, Deputy Director of PVcomBank Binh Duong Branch, along with other leaders and representatives from various PVcomBank departments in Ho Chi Minh City.
On behalf of UIT, attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Vice President of the University; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Trang, Head of the Office of Planning and Finance; Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Head of the Office of Student Affairs; and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep, Secretary of the Youth Union.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tan Tran Minh Khang expressed his expectations for the partnership:
“The University expects that this cooperation agreement with PVcomBank will deliver practical benefits and create favorable conditions for our students to gain early exposure to a professional corporate environment. Together, we aim to advance the development of a sustainable, high-quality workforce.”
Under the newly signed agreement, PVcomBank and UIT agreed to collaborate across multiple areas. Specifically, the two parties will enhance the utilization and implementation of PVcomBank’s products and services in alignment with the University’s operational needs. At the same time, they will expand recruitment opportunities for UIT students to work as collaborators, interns, and full-time employees at PVcomBank upon graduation.
Speaking on behalf of PVcomBank, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Regional Director for North Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast Region, stated:
“PVcomBank highly appreciates the reputation and training quality of the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM. Through this cooperation agreement, we look forward to strengthening our connection with the University and accompanying it in training, recruitment, and financial initiatives.”
