The VNUHCM - University of Information Technology, is pleased to announce the admission process for the combined Bachelor's-Master's program in Information Systems for the second enrollment round of 2023:
I. Registration Schedule for the Combined Bachelor's-Master's Program
The combined Bachelor's-Master's program has been implemented since the academic year 2022-2023, allowing students with excellent academic performance to shorten their total study time compared to the combined duration of undergraduate and master's degrees in the corresponding field. Participants can enroll and accumulate master's-level courses starting from the third year of their undergraduate studies. These accumulated courses are recognized for undergraduate credit (up to a maximum of 15 credits).
Undergraduate Level: Information Systems, Major Code 7480104
Master's Level: Information Systems, Major Code 8480104
III. Admission Quota: Estimated at 20 students
IV. Eligibility Criteria for Participation in the Combined Bachelor's-Master's Program
Prospective candidates must be third or fourth-year undergraduate students and meet the following criteria at the time of admission assessment:
Completed the fifth semester as per the undergraduate program design.
Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA): 7.0
Minimum Accumulated Credits: 60
V. Admission Schedule, Assessment Methods, Training Methods, and Duration
Admission Schedule: December 2023
Assessment Methods: Evaluation of applications and specialized interviews
Training Methods, Duration: Concentrated study, with a total training time of 5.5 years (including participation in the combined program for both undergraduate and master's degrees)
VI. Registration Steps
Step 1: Registration
Students can register for the program online from the announcement date until November 30, 2023, at the following link: https://bitly.com.vn/awvn75
Step 2: Result Notification
The assessment results will be sent to students via email from December 5 to December 8, 2023.
Step 3: Interview (tentatively scheduled for December 15, 2023)
Step 4: Confirmation of Participation in the Combined Bachelor's-Master's Program
Students meeting the eligibility criteria should submit the registration form directly to the Department of Graduate Studies – Science Technology
Registration for master's level courses is expected to take place in December 2023. After registering for master's level courses, students do not need to register for corresponding undergraduate courses that are exempted.
