Admission Announcement for the Second Round of Transdisciplinary Master's Degree Program in Information Systems

University of Information Technology is pleased to announce the admission for the second round of the transdisciplinary master's degree program in Information Systems for the year 2023. The details are as follows:

1. SCHEDULE FOR REGISTERING TRANS-DISCIPLINARY UNDERGRADUATE - MASTER PROGRAM

The Transdisciplinary Undergraduate - Master program has been implemented since the academic year 2022-2023, allowing students with excellent academic performance to shorten the total study time compared to the total training time of the undergraduate and master's degrees in the corresponding field. Participants can register and accumulate master's degree courses from the third year of their undergraduate studies. These accumulated courses are recognized for undergraduate credits (up to a maximum of 15 credits).

2. FIELDS OF ADMISSION

Faculty of Information Systems:
- Bachelor's: Information Systems (Major Code: 7480104)
- Master's: Information Systems (Major Code: 8480104)

3. ADMISSION QUOTA: Expected 20 students

4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TRANS-DISCIPLINARY UNDERGRADUATE - MASTER PROGRAM

Applicants must be third or fourth-year undergraduate students who meet the following criteria at the time of enrollment:

Completed semester 5 according to the design of the undergraduate program in Information Systems.
Minimum cumulative GPA: 7.0
Minimum accumulated credits: 60

5. TIME, ADMISSION METHODS, TRAINING FORM, AND TRAINING TIME

Admission period: December 2023.
Admission method: Evaluation of applications and specialized interviews.
Training form and duration: Concentrated learning, training time: 5.5 years (total time participating in the Transdisciplinary Undergraduate - Master program for undergraduate and master's degrees).

6. APPLICATION STEPS

Step 1: Registration

Students register to participate in the program from the announcement date until November 30, 2023, online at the link: Registration Link.

Step 2: Result Notification

The results of the application review will be sent to students via email from December 05-08, 2023.

Step 3: Interview (expected on December 15, 2023)

Step 4: Confirmation of Participation in the Transdisciplinary Undergraduate - Master Program

Students who are notified of eligibility to participate in the program submit the form directly to the Postgraduate and Research Department & Science and Technology (Room A106).
