The Office of Graduate Accademic Affair - Science Technology hereby announces to all Master's students majoring in Computer Science (8480101), Information Technology (8480201), Information Systems (8480104), and Information Security (8480202) regarding the submission of applications for the defense of master's theses in the second term of 2024 as follows:
Documents required for registering for the master's thesis defense:

Master's thesis defense registration form (template 1).

Evaluation report of the thesis by the advisor (template 2).

Scientific curriculum vitae with confirmation from the relevant agency or local authority (template 3).

Copy of scientific works, papers (if any).
-
Thesis information page (template 4).
-
Consolidated document (completed thesis + paper if any + approved thesis proposal + explanatory document) in one standard PDF file, not submitted as a hardcopy.

English proficiency certificate duly notarized as per regulations (Requirement for defense permission) minimum from level 3/6 according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used for Vietnam or equivalent: IELTS: 4.5, TOEFL ITP: 450, TOEIC: 450, VNU-EPT: 201, standardized foreign language proficiency certificate ... (For specific details, refer to the attached file).
Note:
- The 2017 - 2021 cohort will conduct the thesis according to the regulations in the Training Regulation for Master's Degree of the University of Information Technology and Communications in Decision No. 503/QD-UIT, dated August 10, 2017.
- Upon graduation, students must achieve the English proficiency standard as prescribed by the University.
Deadline for submission of registration documents: May 10, 2024 (Friday)
