Exam Schedule for the Certificate in Information Technology Application for Independent Candidates in 2024

 

1. Time, Venue:

   • Exam Schedule:
     • January: Estimated at 08:00 on January 20, 2024 (Saturday).
     • February: Estimated at 08:00 on February 24, 2024 (Saturday).
     • March: Estimated at 08:00 on March 27, 2024 (Saturday).
     • April: Estimated at 08:00 on April 20, 2024 (Saturday, subject to change).
     • May: Estimated at 08:00 on May 25, 2024 (Saturday).
     • June: Estimated at 08:00 on June 29, 2024 (Saturday).
     • July: Estimated at 08:00 on July 27, 2024 (Saturday).
     • August: Estimated at 08:00 on August 24, 2024 (Saturday).
     • September: Estimated at 08:00 on September 28, 2024 (Saturday).
     • October: Estimated at 08:00 on October 26, 2024 (Saturday).
     • November: Estimated at 08:00 on November 30, 2024 (Saturday).

2. Subjects, Exam Format:

   • Basic IT Application: Includes 06 modules (more details), directly on the computer with multiple-choice questions (60 minutes) and practical exercises (75 minutes).
   • Advanced IT Application: Consists of 03 modules, (more details)directly on the computer with multiple-choice questions (60 minutes) and practical exercises (90 minutes).

3. Registration Procedure:

   • Step 1: Candidates register and transfer the exam fee at link: https://link.uit.edu.vn/DK_CCUDCNTT_CITD at least 3 days before the exam date.
     • Account Name: Information Technology Development Center
     • Account Number: 007 100 352 5391
     • At: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) – Ky Dong Branch.

     • Payment Instructions:

     • Payment Description: For students making payments, please clearly state the following details in the transaction description: “Exam Fee for CCUDCNTT on ... – Full Name – Date of Birth” Example: “Exam Fee for CCUDCNTT on ... -Nguyen Van A-01011995
   • Step 2: Prepare the exam documents and submit them to the Center after completing step 1. 

     (For candidates living at a distance, prepare the documents in advance and be present 30 minutes before the exam to complete the examination procedures). For Basic IT Certificate:

   • 1 registration form (with photo) (sample)
   • 1 copy of ID card/ Citizen ID.

   • For Advanced IT Certificate:

   • 1 registration form (with photo) (sample)
   • 1 copy of ID card/ Citizen ID.
   • 1 certified copy of Certificate A, B, or Basic IT Certificate (sample template issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, VNU-HCM or authorized units according to Joint Circular No. 17/2016/TTLT-BGDĐT-BTTTT).

4. Exam Fees:

   • Exam fee and basic certificate issuance: VND 300,000
   • Exam fee and advanced certificate issuance: VND 350,000
   • Note: The fee is non-refundable if the candidate does not participate in the exam.

5. Result Collection Time, Certificate:

   • Temporary exam results can be confirmed after 10 working days. Issuance fee: 15,000 VND/certificate
   • Certificates will be issued within 1 month from the exam date and notified to candidates via the email address provided by the candidates. Candidates should bring their ID card/Citizen ID to the Center to receive the certificate.

6. Exam Room Regulations for Candidates:

   • Candidates bring their original ID card for verification and signature.
   • Arrive 15 minutes before the exam to complete procedures.
   • Adhere to the instructions of the examiners during the exam.
