NOTIFICATION Regarding registration for consideration of scholarships Semester 1 - Academic Year 2023-2024

The University of Information Technology announces students' registration for scholarship consideration in Semester 1 of the 2023-2024 school year. Types of scholarships applied in this announcement:

Academic encouragement scholarship (ES) for the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 Academic year (Based on academic scores and training scores of the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year).

Scholarships for Students of the High Quality Program (HQP), Advanced Program (AP) for the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year (Based on study scores and training scores of the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year).

Non-budget scholarship (NBS) for the first semester of the 2023-2024 academic year (Applications to scholarships implemented from October 10, 2023 to April 10, 2024).

For admission scholarships (AS), students are not required to register (See also section 4).

1. Purpose:

Study Encouragement Scholarships are based on study and training criteria in accordance with current Study Encouragement Scholarship regulations. But with the spirit of serving according to the University's educational philosophy, the Study Encouragement Scholarship is to encourage students with good academic performance and difficult circumstances who need support to improve their studies and Practice.

The Study Encouragement Scholarship will achieve the true spirit and more humane message by empowering students who study well to strive to overcome difficulties in life. Therefore, the school encourages students with good academic performance, stable circumstances, not yet in difficulty, not urgent, to wait to register to reserve spots for those who are more difficult and need more support.

For off-budget scholarships, based on the requirements and standards of the scholarship granting unit. The scholarship committee will consider and select suitable applications to award scholarships to students.

2. Subject

For (ES, HQP and AP) all students studying full-time undergraduate studies (1st degree) at the University wish to receive scholarships. Class of 2023 students have not registered for ES, HQP and AP this semester. BCU joint program students do not need to apply for this scholarship as there is a separate scholarship program.

For NBS, all full-time students (1st degree) and joint programs who wish to receive scholarships can register.

3. Ranking of ES scholarships and scholarship levels

 

The scholarship level is calculated according to the following formula:

 

G = C

 

VG = C x 110%

 

O = C x 120%

 

 The standard scholarship level (C) of each course in the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year is determined by the semester tuition fee of the general program in the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year based on Decision No. 24/QD -ĐHCNTT and decision No. 25/QD-ĐHCNTT dated January 10, 2023 on adjusting tuition fees for the 2022-2023 school year.

4. Scholarship principles considerations:

Students have the right to register their desire to receive both types of scholarships: ES - HQP - AP and NBP.

Each semester, a student is considered to receive 01 Off-Budget scholarship. Except for special cases decided by the scholarship committee.

For Admissions Scholarships, Study Encouragement Scholarships, High Quality Program Scholarships, Advanced Program Scholarships:

 

If a student registers his/her need to receive a scholarship and meets the conditions for receiving multiple scholarships, he/she will be considered for 01 scholarship with the highest value.

For students eligible for admission scholarships, it is not required to register for ES, HQP, AP. In this case, students will only receive admission scholarships.

- Registration period is from the date of announcement until October 15, 2023

- Public announcement of the list of students registered for scholarship consideration: October 17, 2023

6. Notes:

Only consider scholarships for students who register according to the announcement.

The bank account provided by the student must be the student's own account. The school may refuse to grant a scholarship if the student provides an incorrect account.

Scholarships will not be considered in the following cases:

a. There are subjects with a score of less than 5.0 in the semester.

b. Studying beyond the designed time of the training program (including the time students request to reserve or postpone).

c. Students do not incur Semester Tuition Fees (HPHK) in the current semester (excluding renewal fees).

d. Students do not participate in Health Insurance during the semester.

e. Students are disciplined at the level of reprimand or higher during the semester.
