It's that time of the year again for the selection of "Outstanding Youth Union Members." If you're a diligent student, actively involved in Union activities at all levels, don't hesitate to explore the selection criteria.
Let's take a look at the criteria together:
General Criteria:
- Clear political history of oneself and the family.
- Proper understanding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; steadfastness in one's ideals and aspirations.
- Aspiration to join the ranks of the Party.
- Active participation and contribution to Union activities at all levels, localities of residence.
- Cumulative GPA of 7.0 or above.
- Outstanding completion of Union duties during the academic year.
Specific Criteria for Voting "Outstanding Youth Union Member":
For Student Union Members:
- Good Academic Performance:
- Cumulative GPA of 7.5 or above.
- Achieving one of the following:
- Participation in scientific research competitions, innovative creativity at all levels.
- Participation in Olympic competitions, achieving academic awards nationally and internationally.
- Participation and winning in academic competitions at the departmental level or higher.
- Being one of the "Five-Good Students" in the previous academic year.
- Active Participation in Activities:
- Achieving one of the following:
- Pioneering role in Union activities at all levels, actively participating and directly supporting Union activities.
- Excelling in competitions related to understanding Marxist-Leninist sciences, Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, and other educational activities.
For Union Members who are Faculty:
- Good compliance with the Party's guidelines and policies, state laws, and the regulations of the University.
- Being recognized with the title of "Advanced Labor" or higher in 2023.
- Being evaluated excellently by the Head of the unit for completing assigned tasks during the evaluation period.
Implementation Period: Outstanding Youth Union Members can submit their application from March 2nd to March 7th, 2024.
