On the morning of 30th March 2024, the "Healthy Student Running Program" was organized at the courtyard of Building A, University of Information Technology (UIT) to support the "10,000 Steps a Day for Youth" program in 2024. This event serves as a warm-up activity for the "UIT Youth Fitness Day 2024".
The program is a practical activity to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/3/1931 - 26/3/2024) and the activities of the Youth Month in 2024. It aims to promote the campaign "Whole Population Exercises to Follow the Example of Great Uncle Ho". At the event, Comrade Nguyen Nhat Bang, Deputy Secretary, and Chairman of the Student Union Inspection Committee, encouraged and commended the spirit of participating in physical training among union members and students. He also shared insights into enhancing awareness, role, significance, and benefits of physical exercise to improve the health of the union members and students of the school.
Especially, union members and students who completed the designated distance as per the organizing committee's regulations were awarded the "Healthy Student 2024" certificate. So far, 60 union members and students have completed the race and received the certificate.
