On the morning of May 4, 2024, the program "Nghĩa Tình Biên Giới" (Border Friendship) and political activities in 2024 to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), the 70th anniversary of the victory of Điện Biên Phủ (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), and the 134th anniversary of President Hồ Chí Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) were organized by the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City, the Youth Union of Đắk Nông Province Police, and the Traffic Police Department of Đắk Nông Province. This event was accompanied by the Newspaper Youth, the Youth Union of the University of Information Technology, and the Student Support Center of Ho Chi Minh City.
The delegation laid flowers and incense at the Monument of National Heroes N’Trang Lơng, visited the location where the liaison route of the Trường Sơn - Hồ Chí Minh Trail was opened in Cây Xoài hamlet, Đắk Nia commune. This is where the two North-South advance teams met at 4:00 PM on October 30, 1960, later recognized as a special national historical relic. Representatives from the University of Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, including Comrade Nguyễn Nhật Bằng - Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, and UIT members participated in the event. The program took place in the atmosphere of glorious historical months and days.
