On the morning of September 29, the University of Information Technology (UIT) welcomed a delegation from the College of Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU). The meeting aimed to discuss academic opportunities and scholarship programs tailored for UIT students.

The SNU delegation included distinguished representatives:

• Professor Wontae Hwang, Vice Head of International Relations, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SNU College of Engineering

• Professor Sun Jae Kim, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

• Professor Nguyen Van Thinh, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

• Dr. Nguyen Sy Ngoc, Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology

Expanding Global Partnerships

During the first session, Professor Wontae Hwang provided an overview of SNU, highlighting its prestigious rankings: 31st globally (QS World University Rankings), 6th in Asia, and 1st in South Korea. He emphasized SNU's extensive global network, including partnerships with Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and introduced diverse programs such as:

Strengthening Collaboration

SNU representatives expressed their intent to formalize collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UIT. This partnership would focus on expanding internship and scholarship opportunities, creating a solid foundation for academic and professional growth for UIT students.

The second session delved into detailed scholarship policies for international students, including several programs specifically designed for Vietnamese students:
