Theme for 2023: "KNOWLEDGE EQUIPMENT"
The Library Festival accompanying students is an annual regular activity of the Library System of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, the Library Festival was held on November 10, 2023 (Friday) at the University of Economics and Law (UEL).
The event was honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thi Thuy Giang, Vice President of UEL, the Board of Directors of the Center Library, the Director of the UEL Library (organizing unit), and leaders from the libraries of member units within the Viet Nam National University of Ho Chi Minh City University System.
The festival featured the following main activities:
Panel discussion on "Promoting self-learning capacity with active learning and experiential learning methods" by speaker Ms. Chau Thi Hieu, Lecturer from the University of Science (She is an expert in STEM-oriented teaching methods).
The panel discussion took place in a lively atmosphere with interaction and exchange between the speaker and readers from various universities.
Certificate presentation from the Organizing Committee to active readers from different universities.
Award presentation for the reader who won the "VNUHCM LIBRARIES Moment" prize.
During the festival, readers also had the opportunity to visit the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space with experiences in virtual reality. Additionally, the Organizing Committee prepared book exhibition booths, unique items from various university book clubs, a culinary area, and other products.
The festival took place from 08:00 and concluded at 15:00 on the same day.
