Intel Corporation Proposes Collaboration on AI Training at VNUHCM

On the morning of February 1st, a working session between VNUHCM and Intel Corporation took place at the VNUHCM Executive Office. Associate Professor Dr. Vu Hai Quan - Director of VNUHCM, chaired the meeting, with Mr. Brian G. Gonzales - Director of International Government Relations at Intel Corporation, leading the delegation.

Mr. Brian G. Gonzales introduced the "Intel Digital Readiness" program.

The working session aimed to discuss potential cooperation between the two parties in the fields of semiconductor microelectronics and artificial intelligence (AI). Mr. Brian G. Gonzales introduced the "Intel Digital Readiness" program, which focuses on training AI skills. The program is suitable for students majoring in three member schools of VNUHCM: University of Technology, University of Sciences, and University of Information Technology.

Representatives of the school leadership expressed readiness to collaborate with Intel in implementing the training program at VNUHCM, emphasizing the need for infrastructure to meet the training content. Associate Professor Dr. Tran Manh Ha - Deputy Head of the Training Committee at VNUHCM, Deputy Director in charge of the Software Technology Park at VNUHCM, proposed the possibility of establishing an Intel AI training center at VNUHCM.

The initial working session laid the foundation for both parties to continue researching and implementing cooperative training relationships in the future.
