Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU) has received notification of the AUN-Thailand Summer Camp 2024 program organized by Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University, Thailand, as part of the AUN Summer Program.
- Program Information:
The program, themed "Beyond Borders, Better Health: Medical tourism in Thailand," aims to introduce students to the vibrant medical tourism activities in Thailand, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. Through this experiential learning program, students will expand their knowledge of healthcare systems, the similarities and differences between traditional Thai medicine and Western medicine, and solutions to global challenges in ensuring access to quality healthcare services for all.

Duration: From July 1, 2024, to July 12, 2024.

Location: Bangkok and Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.

Expenses:

Organizers cover expenses for accommodation, opening and closing lunches, airport transfers, domestic transportation, and cultural exchange activities within the program.

The university supports airfare and insurance for participating students as follows:

Airfare: minimum 5,000,000 VND/student.
-
Insurance: 500,000 VND/student.
- Students attending are responsible for other living expenses outside the program.

Quota: 03 students representing HCMC-NU.

Eligibility:
-
Undergraduate students currently studying at member units and affiliates of HCMC-NU.

Good academic performance, with priority given to academic awards.

Proficient in English.
-
Demonstrated leadership potential, teamwork skills, and good communication.

Priority given to students with experience in extracurricular activities and cultural exchanges, especially those related to ASEAN.

Students commit to fully participating in the program.

Vietnamese transcript certified by the training unit.

Language proficiency certificate.

Leadership experience, extracurricular activities, cultural exchange certificates.

Academic awards certificates (if any).
- Application Process:

Students submit applications (Scanned copy) to the Student Affairs Office via email ctsv@uit.edu.vn with the Subject: [AUN-Thailand Summer Camp 2024] [Student ID] [Full Name] before 8:00 AM on April 8, 2024.

The Student Affairs Office will review and select 01 application and notify the student of the results.

Selected students must submit original documents to the Student Affairs Office before 8:00 AM on April 10, 2024.

The university will submit a recommendation letter to HCMC-NU for approval.

After receiving the official results from HCMC-NU, students will be notified to participate in the program.
