Invitation for Students to Participate in the TF-NUS LEaRN Program 2024 in Singapore

Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) has received a notification from the National University of Singapore (NUS) regarding the Temasek Foundation – NUS Leadership Enrichment and Regional Networking (TF-NUS LEaRN) program for the year 2024.

Program Information:

The TF-NUS LEaRN program offers opportunities for students from Southeast Asian countries along with Singaporean students to participate in leadership development activities, cultural exchanges, and networking in Singapore, aiming to nurture the next generation of Asian leaders.

The program is expected to last for 03 weeks, covering the following themes:

Week 01: Cultural exchange and TF-LEaRN program combined at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Week 02: Leadership spirit in the current context.

Week 03: Leadership spirit and Sustainable Development in ASEAN.

Expenses:

Students will be sponsored for program participation expenses and accommodation in Singapore (valued at around 5,000 SGD).

Upon completion of the program, students will receive an additional support of 1,500 SGD for airfare and living expenses.

Program Schedule: From July 01 to July 19, 2024.
Location: Singapore.
Quota: 01 student representative from HCMC-NU.
Eligibility Criteria:

Enrolled students at member units and affiliates of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM).
Priority for students with good academic performance and English proficiency.
Priority for students with leadership experience and active involvement in extracurricular activities and community service.
Students must commit to full participation in the program. Students who do not complete the program will be responsible for covering all participation costs.

Application Documents:

English resume.
Student information form (attached template, 02 pages).
Latest Vietnamese transcript certified by the training unit.
Language proficiency certification.
Leadership experience, extracurricular activities, community service documentation.
Academic achievement documentation (if any).

Application Procedure:

Students submit applications (scanned copies) to the Office of Student Affairs via email ctsv@uit.edu.vn with the Subject: [TF-NUS LEaRN 2024] [Student ID] [Full Name] before 8:00 AM on April 12, 2024.
The Student Affairs Office will review 01 application and notify the student of the results.
Selected students must submit hard copies of documents to the Student Affairs Office by 9:00 AM on April 15, 2024.
The university will send a recommendation letter to VNUHCM for approval.
After receiving the official results from VNUHCM, students will be notified to participate in the program.
