The event features a variety of sports, including Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Chinese Chess, Badminton, and Table Tennis, giving students many chances to compete for prestigious medals.

Beyond being a sports event, UIT Sport also serves as an opportunity for students to meet one of the Five Criteria for the “Five Good Students” Award. Each participant receives a Certificate of Participation in UIT Sport, fulfilling the "Good Health" criterion, which is an essential part of earning the prestigious "Five Good Students" title.

In 2024, the welcoming event for new UIT students returned with a fresh and exciting approach, bringing the “mini Korea” experience to UIT. Under the theme “OSEYO UIT,” the event took students on a colorful journey, blending lively music, delicious food, and engaging sports activities, creating an energetic atmosphere. With booths from UIT’s student unions and clubs, this event served as a connection point between different student generations, offering newcomers a chance to meet seniors, explore active clubs, and join those that align with their interests and passions. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to build relationships, expand their networks, and enrich their UIT experience.
Additionally, the “UIT K2024 Say Hi” music night marked an explosive highlight of the welcoming events. The program featured performances by artists such as Đức Phúc, DJ Mie, and Vũ Thịnh, offering students a lively and memorable experience. With exciting performances and engaging activities like random dance and mini-game dance covers, the show brings joy, energy, and creativity to everyone involved.
