On the morning of 29/10/2016, The center of Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) in collaboration with University of Information Technology (UIT) – Vietnam National University, HCMC held the Opening ceremony for assessing of UIT according to the standard of university quality of Ministry Of Education and Training (MOET).

The ceremony had the attendance of Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long - Head of Delegation and members of the delegation. From VNU-HCMC, we had the attendance of Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice President of VNU. From University of Information Technology, we had the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Duong Anh Duc – President of UIT, Vice Presidents, Managers of Faculty, Department and Center.

At the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Vice President of VNU-HCM, emphasized that UIT is the only university of VNU-HCM and Vietnam that undertakes information and communication technology research and focused, in-depth training. Through this assessment, it is considered as a meaningful activity marking the effort of UIT in assessing and improving the quality of education in ICT field. At the same time expressed hope, leaders of the school, officials and employees of the school work actively, providing sufficient evidence to the mission to complete the task.
