Reflecting on the Keychain Design and Martial Arts Performance Competition at UMAPerformance

"The greatest battles in life are not the ones that win gold medals. But the silent battles won within ourselves." (Chuck Norris)

Practicing martial arts is one of the ways to train the body, mind, and spirit. Understanding this, along with the desire to create a beneficial playground for members, the UIT Martial Arts Club organized UMAPerformance. This exciting event included two main competitions: keychain design and martial arts performance. After more than 4 weeks of preparation and training, the UMAPerformance event was successfully held on the evening of April 5, 2024, at the training ground.

The organizing committee was honored to welcome:

  • Master Truong Cong Hue - Head Coach of the University of Information Technology Martial Arts Unit.

  • Mr. Tran Van Phat - Head of Class V of the UIT Martial Arts Club.

  • Mr. Tran Cao Thanh Lich - Head of Class VI of the UIT Martial Arts Club.

Together with all the gentlemen, ladies, and friends who took the time to attend the UMAPerformance event.

After going through the design phase and voting, UMA found the cutest keychain, receiving the most likes from the members. And the first prize of the "Keychain Design" competition belonged to the work of Mr. Do Minh Nhat.

At the same time, after more than three weeks of diligent training, the competing teams confidently presented their creations on stage. The results of the "Martial Arts Performance" competition are as follows:

First prize: Team "5 Superhero Brothers" with the performance "Martial Arts Music - Nostalgic Night":

  • Do Minh Nhat
  • Le Thien Kim
  • Hoang Thi Thu Thao
  • Duong Thien Quy
  • Quang Dai Thi

Second prize: Team "C Sui" with the performance "Basic Female Self-Defense":

  • Nguyen Khanh Bao Chau
  • Mai Anh Khoa

Additionally, the cultural performances and demonstrations of female self-defense techniques made the atmosphere even more lively on the evening of April 5. The UIT Martial Arts Club would like to express its gratitude to everyone who has always been accompanying, sharing, and supporting UMA. Ending the program, receiving support from the seniors and positive feedback from the students, that is the great motivation for the club to organize more activities in the future.

And hey, don't forget that UMA is still recruiting members. Are you passionate about martial arts but don't know where to start? Send a message to the fan page immediately, and we will help you figure it out.
