Students are still vague about semiconductor technology.

At the Human Resources Development Conference for the semiconductor industry, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Director of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City, stated that currently, there are challenges in developing the microchip industry:

Firstly, there is a lack of recruitment sources. Many students are still unclear about the semiconductor design field.

Secondly, there is a shortage of qualified personnel. Even though the National University is large in scale, the number of graduates specialized in semiconductors, especially at the doctoral level, is limited.

Thirdly, there is a need for continuous development and change in training programs.

Fourthly, there is a challenge in providing internship opportunities for students. Practical experience is essential for students in this field.

Lastly, there is a need for research and innovation in startups.
