On the morning of March 26, 2024, UIT Library organized a summary and award ceremony for outstanding students from the "Information Skills – Information Literacy" training courses in 2024.

UIT Library successfully organized three training courses from March 12 to March 19, 2024, with the participation of 125 students. During the training, students were guided on techniques for searching information on the Internet, identifying and evaluating the quality of information resources. This equipped them with the ability to easily search for documents in databases to meet their study and scientific research needs. Additionally, students learned about the concept of "Plagiarism", various forms of plagiarism, and the impacts of plagiarism on life and learning. They were introduced to popular citation standards worldwide such as APA, IEEE, Harvard, Chicago, Vancouver, etc. Particularly, students were instructed to use and practice with Zotero 6.0 software to assist in creating reference lists according to international citation standards and citing within assignments, projects, theses, dissertations, etc. They were also introduced to the overleaf tool and demonstrated how to cite documents on Overleaf using Latex.

To acknowledge the results, stimulate the spirit of learning, and encourage students to participate more in the activities of the Library and the University, the Library awarded 4 students who actively and outstandingly participated this year.
