UIT and Pearson Education Discuss Strategic Direction for Digital Learning Platforms

On the afternoon of May 14, the University of Information Technology (UIT), a member of the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, held a meeting with Pearson Higher Education. The meeting took place in an open and collaborative atmosphere to discuss solutions for implementing digital learning platforms at UIT.

Representatives from Pearson Higher Education included Mr. Jasmond – Regional Sales Director for Southeast Asia; Ms. Heidi – Representative for Southern Vietnam; and Ms. Huyền Trân – Representative for Northern Vietnam. On the UIT side, the delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Lưu Thùy Ngân – Vice President of the university; Mr. Trần Bá Nhiệm, MSc – Deputy Head of Undergraduate Training Office, along with faculty members from various departments and faculties.

During the meeting, Pearson Higher Education representatives provided an overview of the digital transformation solutions in education that the company is currently implementing. Pearson shared its model of providing digital learning resources on an institutional scale, ensuring equal access for all students and faculty members. In addition, they proposed collaboration with UIT in deploying digital learning platforms such as MyLab, Mastering, and Revel, with integrated AI technology to support teaching and learning. The topics discussed were aligned with UIT’s development orientation and opened up the potential for strategic cooperation in the near future.

The meeting concluded with many practical discussions, paving the way for collaboration between UIT and Pearson Higher Education in integrating digital learning platforms into teaching and learning activities.
