UIT and Rosen Group Discuss Potential Collaboration Opportunities in the ICT Field

 

On November 10, 2025, the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCMC (UIT) held a working session with Rosen Group, marking a discussion toward potential collaborations in research, education, and the development of high-quality ICT human resources.

Representing Rosen Group were Mr. Markus Brors – Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Floris Verhagen – Vice President Asia Pacific, and Ms. Nguyen Hong Van – Managing Director, Rosenxt Holding AG.

From UIT, the meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh – President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Luu Thuy Ngan – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Duy – Head of Graduate Training and Science & Technology Office; Dr. Pham Van Hau – Director of the Center for Cybersecurity, Head of the Information Security Laboratory, and Head of the Information Security Department; Dr. Nguyen Minh Son – Dean, Faculty of Computer Engineering; Dr. Do Trong Hop – Deputy Dean and Acting Dean, Faculty of Software Engineering; Dr. Nguyen Tan Hoang Phuoc – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Le Huy – Head of Microchip and Hardware Design Department, Faculty of Computer Engineering; and Dr. Huynh Van Dang – Lecturer, Faculty of Computer Networks and Communications.

Opening the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Duy introduced the university’s key achievements in training and research, as well as UIT’s core strengths in ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He also shared UIT’s orientation in strengthening cooperation with enterprises to promote innovation and practical engagement.

Representing Rosen Group, Mr. Markus Brors provided an overview of the corporation’s operations, emphasizing its expertise in advanced inspection and monitoring technologies that support global energy infrastructure. Rosen expressed a strong interest in partnering with leading universities to develop new solutions in software, digital systems, and artificial intelligence.

During the discussion, both sides explored potential directions for collaboration. Rosen Group expressed its intention to expand operations in Vietnam by developing a data analytics and AI application research team, as well as considering joint efforts with UIT in training and building specialized ICT human resources. The two sides also discussed initial ideas for internship and research opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students, helping learners gain exposure to real-world projects and apply their knowledge to advanced technology applications.
