UIT students explore global career opportunities with AvePoint Singapore at the “Work-Study Singapore” Seminar
On October 16, 2025, at Hall E of the University of Information Technology – VNU-HCM (UIT), the Faculty of Computer Science collaborated with AvePoint Singapore to host the seminar “Work-Study Singapore.” The event served as a valuable opportunity for students to meet, exchange ideas, and participate in direct interviews with recruiters from the global software corporation.
Representatives from UIT and AvePoint exchanged thank-you letters and commemorative gifts.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Ngo Duc Thanh, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, expressed his delight in partnering with AvePoint for such a meaningful activity. “This is a chance for students to better understand the criteria and expectations of an international working environment through direct interaction with AvePoint recruiters,” he shared. “Through these conversations, students can gain motivation, direction, and preparation for their personal and professional growth.”
The seminar took place in a dynamic and professional atmosphere, drawing a large number of students. Representatives from AvePoint Singapore introduced the company’s global development strategy, corporate culture, and attractive career opportunities for students majoring in information technology.
Alongside the corporate introduction, AvePoint presented the “Work-Study Singapore” program, which allows students to experience a modern dual-track learning model that integrates academic training with hands-on professional experience in an international environment. The program aims to help students develop essential global work skills and provides opportunities to participate in research and development projects at AvePoint Singapore.
In the afternoon, AvePoint held on-campus recruitment sessions and direct interviews at UIT. Many students came well-prepared with resumes, demonstrating confidence and enthusiasm while engaging with international professionals. AvePoint representatives highly commended the competence and mindset of UIT students.
