University of Information Technology Participates in Conference on Adjusting VNU-HCM Development Strategy
On 13 January 2026, the University of Information Technology (UIT), a member institution of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), participated in a working conference organized by VNU-HCM with its member and affiliated units. The conference focused on adjustments to the VNU-HCM Development Strategy for the 2021–2030 period with a vision to 2045, the Action Program for 2026–2030, and the Operational Plan for 2026.
The conference was held at Tran Chi Dao Hall, VNU-HCM Administration Building, and was attended by the VNU-HCM Board of Directors, leaders of functional departments, the VNU-HCM Strategy Task Force, as well as leaders of member universities, research institutes, and affiliated units.
At the conference, UIT presented a concise overview of its key achievements in 2025 and outlined its orientations and priority activities for 2026. These focused on the university’s core strengths, including information technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data science, and innovation, thereby contributing constructive input to the refinement of VNU-HCM’s Action Program for the 2026–2030 period.
The conference served as an important opportunity for the University of Information Technology to continue working closely with VNU-HCM, aligning vision and actions toward sustainable development and enhancing VNU-HCM’s standing at both regional and international levels.
