Vietnam National University-HCMC ranked 147th in ASIA

This year the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City has risen 54 places, ranking 147th in the top 350 universities in Asia

QS University Rankings Asia has announced the top 350 universities in Asia in 2016.

Vietnam has five universities in the list, including: Hanoi National University (139th), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (147th), Can Tho University (in the group of 251-300),  Hue University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (in group 301-350).

Last year, according to this ranking, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City ranked no..201.

Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City was established in January 1995 under Decree 16 / CP of the Government. Currently, the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City has 6 member universities: Bach Khoa University, University of Sciences, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, International University, University of Information Technology, University of Economics - Law.

The rankings of Asian universities are based on 10 criteria. Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City has two high ranking indexes, accounting for 40% of the results of the rating, including the Academic reputation index (Acedemic Repulation) is 70.3; The Employee Reproducibility Score is 35.9.

Topping the top 350 universities in Asia this year is National University of Singapore (NUS).
