VNG Visits UIT for Collaboration in Game Development and Digital Technology
On the morning of June 9, 2025, a delegation from VNG visited the University of Information Technology (UIT), Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions, particularly in the fields of game development and digital technology.
The VNG delegation included Mr. Lê Hồng Minh, Chairman of VNG's Board of Directors; Ms. Trần Xuân Ngọc Thảo, Director of Human Resources and Communications; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Dung, Head of Employer Branding Communications; Mr. Nguyễn Khánh Trung, CEO of ZingPlay Game Studios; and Dr. Châu Thành Đức, Head of Research and Development at Zalo AI.
On the UIT side, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Nguyễn Tấn Trần Minh Khang, Vice-Rector; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Kiệt, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Science and Engineering; Dr. Đỗ Trọng Hợp, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Software Engineering; Mr. Lê Thanh Trọng, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Software Engineering; Dr. Nguyễn Trịnh Đông, Head of the Virtual Environment and Game Development Department; Dr. Nguyễn Minh Sơn, Head of the Faculty of Computer Engineering; Dr. Lương Ngọc Hoàng, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department; and Dr. Nguyễn Tấn Hoàng Phước, Deputy Head of the Data Science Department.
During the meeting, UIT representatives provided an in-depth introduction to the curriculum of the Virtual Environment and Game Development Department, along with the improvements and training orientations aimed at meeting the practical needs of the game industry.

Both sides expressed a strong interest in deepening and expanding their collaboration, particularly in the areas of curriculum development, training UIT students, and creating a high-quality learning environment that is applied to real-world practices, ultimately contributing to the development of a talented workforce for the game industry.
VNG Expresses Desire to Collaborate with UIT in Game Talent Training
This meeting marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between UIT and VNG, with the shared goal of enhancing training quality, fostering innovation, and developing high-quality human resources for the IT industry, especially in the rapidly growing game sector in the digital age.
Earlier in June, the Faculty of Software Engineering successfully organized a VNG Tour for over 114 students, providing them with an opportunity to experience firsthand the dynamic and modern work environment of one of Vietnam’s leading technology corporations.

During this tour, students had the chance to explore the unique corporate culture at VNG Campus, interact with experienced technology experts, and gain valuable insights into various job roles, software development processes, and skill requirements in the IT field today.
This collaboration is set to help bridge the gap between academic training and industry needs, preparing UIT students for the evolving digital and game development landscapes.
