We are thrilled to announce that the UIT_W1_Doppelganger team, comprised of outstanding students from Team Q of the Wanna.W1n club, under the supervision of the Information Security Laboratory (InSecLab), has successfully passed the preliminary rounds and secured a spot in the SoICT Hackathon 2023 finals. Their project, "InSec-SmartBanking: A System for Detecting Unusual Transaction Behavior," revolves around the application of AI in the field of Banking, Finance, Insurance, and Securities (BFIS). This also marks the initial outcome achieved by the team within the framework of the WannaQuest 2023 training program, as they are entering the final project phase

The competition ideas in the BFIS track of the SoICT Hackathon 2023 aim to encourage students to provide easy, efficient, and secure financial solutions/products to end-users with the assistance of AI. The final round will be held on October 28th-29th, 2023, at Building B1, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).
SoICT Hackathon 2023 is a collaborative effort between the School of Information Technology and Communication, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and various partners, designed to cultivate the passion for AI exploration and application among students and graduate scholars nationwide. The event serves as a platform to address real-world challenges and contribute to the community and society.
The SoICT Hackathon 2023 comprises five unique tracks, each with different formats: Kaggle (similar to BKAI Challenge 2022), Product Idea Hackathon, and Competitive Programming. Each track is sponsored by a respected corporate partner (Samsung, TIKI, NAVER, Vietcombank). The competition includes the following tracks:
Vietnamese Spoken Language Understanding (SLU)
AI-Powered Mobile Apps (Samsung)
Vietnamese Handwritten Text Recognition (OCR)
Routing Optimization (TIKI)
AI-Powered Banking, Finance, Insurance and Securities (Vietcombank)
