Two female students from University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UIT), who previously participated in training programs at AI Lab UIT – AvePoint, have achieved another remarkable academic milestone by securing full scholarships to pursue their Master’s degrees at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
The scholarship recipients are Nguyen Thi Thuy and Chu Minh Nhat Ha.
Both students will pursue the Master of Science in Technology and Design (MTD) through the MaivenPoint x SUTD Work-Study Programme, an opportunity that combines postgraduate education with industry-oriented learning.
From AI Lab UIT – AvePoint to postgraduate studies in Singapore
Before receiving their scholarships, Thuy and Nhat Ha participated in training programs at AI Lab UIT – AvePoint, where students have opportunities to develop technological knowledge and experience an industry-connected learning environment.
Building on this foundation, both students have now taken another significant step in their academic journeys by earning full scholarships to pursue postgraduate studies at SUTD, one of Singapore’s universities specializing in technology and design.
Their achievements highlight the opportunities that can emerge when academic learning is connected with industry-oriented training and international education pathways.
Inspiring more women to pursue careers in technology
UIT takes pride in seeing its students confidently pursue international academic opportunities and achieve new milestones beyond the classroom.
The accomplishments of Thuy and Nhat Ha are also a source of inspiration for fellow UIT students, particularly young women pursuing careers in technology, encouraging them to set ambitious goals, explore new opportunities, and confidently take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
Congratulations to Nguyen Thi Thuy and Chu Minh Nhat Ha on this outstanding achievement. UIT wishes both students continued success as they begin their postgraduate studies in Singapore!
