The analysis and exploration of Heterogeneous Information Networks (HIN) can be considered one of the highly researched areas in recent times. The entire content of the thesis presents issues related to the analysis and exploration of Heterogeneous Information Networks in a content-rich context. The central focus of the advancements in the thesis is on combining the similarity factor in content and the structural connections, in the form of meta-paths, of nodes in the HIN. This aims to enhance the performance of similarity calculations. The thesis proposes improved models that integrate the evaluation of correlation between entities, considering both relationships and similarity in content/themes. This combination supports the increase in accuracy for finding similarities in Heterogeneous Information Networks.
