On the morning of December 21, 2023, the VNU-HCM University of Information Technology (UIT), organized its second Party Conference for the year. The conference was attended by key figures, including Mr. Vu Duc Lung - Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University Council, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and University Rector, Mr. Mai Van Cuong - Standing Committee Member, Head of the Inspection Commission of the Party Committee, Mr. Vu Van Diep - Deputy Head of the Party Committee Inspection Commission, along with other members of the Executive Board and Party Committee, and 169 Party members, officials, union members, and students of UIT.
During the conference, Associate Professor, Doctor Vu Duc Lung, presented and thoroughly discussed various official documents, including Decision No. 114-QD/TW dated July 11, 2023, issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, addressing power control, corruption prevention, and combating negativity. He also highlighted Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 dated June 24, 2023, from the National Assembly regarding the pilot implementation of certain mechanisms and policies for the special development of Ho Chi Minh City, as well as Directive No. 27-CT/TU on implementing Resolution No. 98. Moreover, Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated November 9, 2022, from the 6th Plenum of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam concerning the continued construction and improvement of the socialist rule of law state in Vietnam during the new period was discussed.

In addition, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Hoang Tu Anh presented a comprehensive report summarizing the Party's activities in 2023, evaluating the leadership's execution of political tasks and Party-building work. He also outlined the directions and tasks for 2024.

The conference provided a platform for the Party Committee to commend outstanding groups and individuals participating in the "Skillful Citizens" movement in 2023. Five groups and five individuals were recognized for their exceptional contributions to this movement.
The event concluded with the awarding of certificates of merit to the exemplary groups and individuals, recognizing their significant efforts and achievements in promoting the Party's initiatives and values.
