UIT & AVEPOINT OFFICIALLY PARTNER TO ESTABLISH AI LAB – ADVANCING INNOVATION IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE On March 6, 2026, the University of Information Technology – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UIT) held a signing ceremony with AvePoint to establish an AI Lab, marking an important milestone in promoting research, innovation, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and real-world practice. The event opens a new direction for collaboration between academia and a global technology enterprise, contributing to the development of an innovation ecosystem for learning, research, and technological advancement at UIT, where academic knowledge is closely connected with real-world industry needs. The UIT & AvePoint AI Lab is expected to become a dynamic innovation space where students can access advanced AI technologies and real-world industry challenges. At the same time, it will serve as a collaborative environment for faculty members, researchers, and technology experts to jointly develop new solutions with high practical value. Through the AI Lab, various collaborative initiatives will be implemented, including internship programs, mentoring activities, specialized workshops, applied research projects, and recruitment opportunities from AvePoint. These initiatives will enable students to gain early exposure to professional working environments while helping bridge the gap between university education and the evolving demands of the technology job market. More than just a technology laboratory, the AI Lab between UIT and AvePoint is envisioned as a launchpad for UIT’s future engineers—a place where innovative ideas are nurtured, technological projects are tested, and impactful AI solutions are developed.
