On March 29th, the Vietnam Student Union Central Committee organized a conference to study, comprehend, and propagate the Resolution of the 11th National Student Congress of Vietnam Students and the 7th City Student Congress of Ho Chi Minh City Students, for the term 2023 - 2028. The Student Union of the University of Information Technology hosted an online checkpoint with the participation of nearly 180 union officials, members, and students at Hall E.
During this event, some major directions for the country's development from 2021 to 2030 were discussed, including breakthroughs in fundamental reforms, comprehensive education and training, and the development of high-quality human resources. Emphasis was placed on promoting research, transfer, and strong application of the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in all aspects of social life. The comprehensive development of individuals and the construction of an advanced Vietnamese culture, rich in national identity, were also highlighted.
With the action slogan "Vietnamese Students - Firm Identity - Rich Aspirations - Future Builders - Nation Builders," the Congress clearly demonstrated the mission and goals of Vietnamese student union members in realizing aspirations, building the future, preserving national identity, and contributing to the construction and defense of the country. To achieve these goals, the Congress also presented 11 key targets, evenly distributed across the activities of the Union and student movements, ensuring comprehensiveness and specificity at each Union level.
Recognizing the rapid changes in student characteristics, the President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Union proposed that all levels of the Union study and comprehend the Resolution simultaneously with the development of action plans to establish annual and term tasks to implement the 11th National Student Congress Resolution effectively.
Immediately after the opening, the online conference for studying, comprehending, and propagating the Resolution of the 11th National Student Congress of Vietnam Students for the term 2023 - 2028 was organized with three key topics associated with one movement and two Union programs: the topic "The Movement of Excellent Students for the term 2023 - 2028"; the topic "Building a Strong Vietnam Student Union, contributing to the construction and defense of the Party and the political system"; the topic "Companionship, advisory support for Vietnamese students."
The conference for studying, comprehending, and propagating the Resolution helped all levels of the Union, officials, members, and students to grasp the basic and core contents, new and important points in the documents of the 11th National Student Congress. Participation in the conference will enhance the awareness, responsibility, initiative, and creativity of all levels of the Union, officials, members, and students in implementing the Congress's Resolution, thereby fostering deep political activities in all levels of the Union and promoting competitive movements to achieve the goals set forth in the Resolution.
