On the morning of 29/10/2016, The center of Education Quality Assessment – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) in collaboration with University of Information Technology (UIT) – Vietnam National University, HCMC held the Opening ceremony for assessing of UIT according to the standard of university quality of Ministry Of Education and Training (MOET). TS. Tạ Thị Thu Hiền, Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm KĐCLGD-ĐHQGHN phát biểu khai mạc The ceremony had the attendance of Prof. Dr. Banh Tien Long - Head of Delegation and members of the delegation. From VNU-HCMC, we had the attendance of Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice President of VNU. From University of Information Technology, we had the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Duong Anh Duc – President of UIT, Vice Presidents, Managers of Faculty, Department and Center. Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Vice President of VNU-HCM, made a remark to open the ceremony At the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia, Vice President of VNU-HCM, emphasized that UIT is the only university of VNU-HCM  and Vietnam that undertakes information and communication technology research and focused, in-depth training. Through this assessment, it is considered as a meaningful activity marking the effort of UIT in assessing and improving the quality of education in ICT field. On 31/01/2016, two teams (Nem Team of UIT (Vietnam) and the team of Thailand) participated in SECCON CTF 2015 (SECCON) as the representation of Southeast Asia.   From the left: Dương Quốc Tín, Dr. Phạm Văn Hậu, Phạm Mạnh Luật, Nguyễn Vũ Hoàng, Đặng Minh Trí   The Nem SECCON 2015 brought together the best teams from several Security Contests including Cyber SEAGames, DEFCON, etc....SECCON 2015 include: 8 teams from 6 competitions, 10 teams from online competitions (more than 872 teams from 60 countries).
