On May 26, the University of Information Technology (UIT), Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, held an official meeting with representatives of Playwith Inc, one of South Korea’s leading game companies.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Park Shin Hyung, CEO of Playwith Inc, alongside UIT leaders including Associate Professor Dr. Lê Đình Duy – Head of Graduate and Science & Technology Department; Dr. Đỗ Trọng Hợp and Master Lê Thanh Trọng – Deputy Heads of the Software Engineering Faculty; Dr. Nguyễn Trịnh Đông – Head of the Virtual Environment and Game Development Department; and Dr. Nguyễn Duy Khánh – Deputy Head of the Software Development Department.

During the meeting, Playwith Inc representatives presented an overview of the company’s operations and highlighted key game projects. The company proposed a cooperation project to establish a small-scale game development studio at UIT, alongside synchronized training programs in collaboration with their headquarters in South Korea. This partnership also offers opportunities for students to intern, train, and work directly at Playwith Inc.

UIT representatives introduced their well-trained student body, experienced faculty specializing in artificial intelligence and blockchain, as well as modern facilities—factors highly appreciated by Playwith Inc and seen as a foundation for long-term cooperation.

The meeting concluded with productive discussions, opening prospects for collaboration in research, practical training, and developing high-quality human resources in the gaming industry between UIT and Playwith Inc.
