On morning 9th of September, 2018, at the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM (UIT), Dr. Kazunori Asada - Japanese Scientist attended the professional report sessions of UIT students. This is a report session of a collaborative project between UIT and Citynow Co, Ltd. The presentation was attended by Mr. Phan Tuan Tai - Managing Director of Citynow Co, Ltd., the partner of UIT. Two students Pham Hong Phi and Bui Minh Tien Dat from the University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM has won the second prize at the Singapore Cyber Conquest 2018. Student Pham Hong Phi and Bui Minh Tien Dat won the second prize Singapore Cyber Conquest has a total of 36 teams, including 27 Singaporean teams and 9 teams from Southeast Asia. This is the ninth Singapore Cyber Conquest to be held for students and graduate students with skills and knowledge of cyber security. September 6th - University of Information Technology (UIT) held an Agreement Ceremony with IIG Vietnam. September 05th – UIT’s opening ceremony of the 2018-2019 academic year took place at the VNUHCM’s Headquarter. August 21st – VNUHCM - University of Information Technology (UIT) signed an agreement with Vingroup in information technology (IT). From August 15 to 17, more than 1300 enrolled University of Information Technology (UIT) students for the Course 2018; the enrollment rate met VNUHCM’s quota on education and training at UIT. Incoming students lined up to submit their enrollment profile Understanding parents’ concerns when they took their son/daughter to enroll at a university which is located far from their home for the first time, UIT welcomed its incoming students and their parents with care. A well-organized welcoming task which was to direct the incoming students to know an enrollment process, complete their personal profile, and submit their enrollment profile, as well as register a place at the VNUHCM’s dormitory, etc. The students and their parents also got consult with UIT’s officials on unclear and uncertain issues.
