This morning, on January 18, 2024, at the Computer Science Faculty, Mr. To Nhat Huy, a Robotics Engineer at Ohmnilabs and a former student of the faculty, visited and officially handed over a sponsored Ohmni Telepresence robot to the students of the Computer Science Faculty.
Ohmni Telepresence is a robot capable of assisting users in interactive online meetings. Users can feel as if they are present at the robot's location through visual and audio communication, and the robot can be remotely moved. This product is already commercialized in many markets worldwide.
With this sponsored robot, students of the Computer Science Faculty can experience the product in real-life scenarios and have the opportunity to develop applications that interface with the hardware on the robot using the APIs provided by Ohmnilabs. This can also serve as a tool for students to practice subjects related to computer vision, speech processing, human-machine interaction, and more.
The Computer Science Facultyat UIT expresses sincere gratitude to Ohmnilabs for this meaningful sponsorship!
