ĐHQG-HCM has made significant progress in the ranking of its academic disciplines. While in 2021 only one discipline was ranked, by 2024 ĐHQG-HCM has achieved rankings for 11 disciplines, with 8 of them making it into the top 500 globally. The results of the ranking by academic discipline for 2024 were announced by QS earlier this afternoon, on April 10th.
Among the 8 disciplines ranked in the top 500 globally are: Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ranked 351-400), Mathematics (ranked 351-400), Chemical Engineering (ranked 401-430), Environmental Science (ranked 451-500), Computer Science and Information Systems (ranked 451-500), Agriculture and Forestry (ranked 401-450), Economics and Econometrics (ranked 451-500). Particularly, the Petroleum Engineering discipline maintains its ranking in the top 51-100 globally.
The number of disciplines ranked at ĐHQG-HCM has seen remarkable growth from 2021 to 2024.
