So, it's been a while since the conclusion of the 2024 Spring Volunteer Campaign by the Vị Xuân 5 team, hasn't it? A journey filled with warm memories and unforgettable emotions for the 40 Vị Xuân 5 warriors, who brought a vibrant spring to the land of Tân Quới commune, Đồng Tháp province.
Through various activities, the Vị Xuân 5 warriors seemed to be replenished with joyful energy as they personally engaged in meaningful deeds for the community. Regardless of the weather, they enthusiastically revitalized playgrounds for children, planted flowers along the roadsides, or decorated a "Spring Corner" for the local People's Committee. They transformed the rural landscape into a vivid and colorful attire, spreading a festive atmosphere throughout the village lanes.
The warriors also received heartfelt gratitude while distributing meaningful Tet gifts to less fortunate households, those with revolutionary contributions, solitary elderly individuals, and diligent, impoverished students. At the homes of the elderly, the Vị Xuân 5 warriors listened to their stories, tales of the past, historical heroism witnessed and experienced by the elderly. This experience ignited the flames of enthusiasm in the warriors while also evoking empathy for the visible marks of time on the hands and eyes of the elderly. Sharing a simple meal, tidying up homes, and conversing with the elderly became precious memories for the Vị Xuân 5 warriors.
In the course of their lengthy activities to strengthen local bonds, the warriors learned to wrap traditional Tet cakes, set up stalls for "Zero Dong" items, and organized a "Joyful Spring Technology Fair." Notably, leveraging the strengths of the University of Information Technology, Vị Xuân 5 built a website introducing the local history and conducted a seminar on "Enhancing Awareness of Information Security in the Digital Transformation." These were all valuable experiences that, when recalled, surely leave an indelible mark in the hearts of each Vị Xuân 5 warrior.
Even though this campaign has come to an end, we believe that the journey of spreading love continues.
