On October 27, 2023, the Dormitory Management Center, in collaboration with the Red Cross Association of Di An City, organized the second voluntary blood donation event of 2023 for staff, workers, and resident students at Dormitory Block B. The program carried the message "Donate a drop of blood, leave a lifetime behind."
After more than 4 hours of implementation, the organizers received participation from 300 staff, workers, and students, and collected a total of 105,000 ml of blood (consisting of 300 blood units with a volume of 350 ml each). This blood donation drive holds significant importance as it timely replenishes the shortage of blood supply, providing essential reserves for medical facilities, hospitals, and patients in need.
This marks the second voluntary blood donation event of 2023 at the Center, following the successful first event held on October 4, 2023, at Dormitory Block A. The enthusiastic participation of students, staff, and workers during both events was remarkable.
The voluntary blood donation movement will continue to be promoted by the Dormitory Management Center to encourage staff, workers, and students to voluntarily contribute to the community, fostering a spirit of solidarity and volunteerism among resident students.
