Workshop "UIT Students and TOEIC Speaking - Writing Test"

In order to share experiences for the TOEIC exam, the UIT Language Center, under University of Information Technology, organized the workshop "UIT Students and TOEIC Speaking - Writing Test" on the morning of March 21.

The speakers for the workshop were Master Tat Duong Khanh Linh - Lecturer at the Language Center, and student Do Phi Long - from the Software Engineering Faculty, with the participation and support of teachers from the Language Center.

During the workshop, Master Tat Duong Khanh Linh provided an overview of the Speaking - Writing test, as well as the structure of each test to help students understand and prepare thoroughly for the exam. She also introduced some effective test preparation tips and recommended review materials to enhance the necessary skills.

In addition, students had the opportunity to interact with Do Phi Long, who achieved a score of 370/400 in the TOEIC Speaking-Writing test (190 points for Speaking and 180 points for Writing). Long shared practical "combat experience" in the exam room, such as dealing with noise during the Speaking test recording, or overcoming moments of "crisis" due to difficult questions. Long also emphasized, "English is a long journey, it requires a reasonable approach, more reading - writing - speaking to be able to apply it to daily life and work."

At the end of the workshop, students were excited to participate in a practice Speaking test and receive direct feedback and error correction from the speakers, gaining valuable experience for future TOEIC exams.
