On the afternoon of October 26, at the Headquarters of Ho Chi Minh City National University, Inspection Team 885 of the Party Central Committee came to work and present the draft report on the inspection results regarding the Standing Board of the Party Committee at Ho Chi Minh City National University. Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Inspection Commission, and Head of the Inspection Team, presided over the working session.
Attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, Mr. Hoang Van Tra, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, Deputy Head of the Inspection Team, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission, members of the Standing Board of the Party Committee at Ho Chi Minh City National University, and Inspection Team 885 of the Party Central Committee.
During the working session, the Inspection Team representatives announced the draft report on the inspection results concerning the Standing Board of the Party Committee at Ho Chi Minh City National University. According to the report, Ho Chi Minh City National University has been and is in the process of establishing a model of a modern university system with high-quality management, training, breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and practical service to the community. The university has been pioneering in the Vietnamese higher education system in terms of the quantity and quality of standardized regional and international training programs, as well as the number of research projects and its position in international university rankings.
The Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City National University is a higher-level party committee with 14 subordinate party organizations and more than 2,500 party members. In recent years, the Standing Board of the Party Committee at Ho Chi Minh City National University has effectively fulfilled its role as the political core, providing leadership and guidance for the university in implementing its assigned political tasks. The Standing Board has rigorously adhered to the work of cadre management in accordance with the spirit of the 13th Party Congress's resolution and Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee.
The Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City National University has taken interest in leading, directing, organizing personnel work, and building a cadre team at all levels. It has also effectively overseen the organization of restructuring to meet the requirements and tasks of the present stage...
However, there are still some limitations and shortcomings, such as the slow implementation of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, the incomplete implementation of specific details, and the delayed and unsynchronized organization of party machinery in response to the Party's and the State's regulations on personnel work within the Party...
Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Inspection Team, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and significant results achieved by the Standing Board of the Party Committee at Ho Chi Minh City National University in recent years. He suggested that the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City National University continue to provide guidance for reviewing, improving regulations, and providing complete instructions on personnel work, as well as thoroughly implementing the Central Committee's documents to address the limitations mentioned in the draft report.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, fully concurred with the content of the draft report on the inspection results and seriously accepted all opinions and recommendations from the Inspection Team. He required the Party Committee's Standing Board at all levels, as well as the party organizations directly under the Party Committee, to promptly supplement and explain the relevant content as requested by the Inspection Team.
