The University Dormitory Management Center announces the organization of the "University Dormitory Students' Singing Contest - 2023" as part of the New Student Orientation Program - School Fest 2023 as follows:
Participants: Students who are studying and residing at the University Dormitory Management Center, Ho Chi Minh City National University in the academic year 2023-2024.
Competition Content: Songs that praise the university, teachers, and friends; love for the homeland; songs that express dreams, aspirations, emotions, and responsibilities of students towards the country, society, and family.
Categories: Solo and group performances.
Mandatory Regulations:
- Competition songs must be within the list of songs approved for circulation by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
- Competition songs must be performed in standard Vietnamese. Participants singing in a foreign language or ethnic minority language must sing in Vietnamese at least once.
- Music (beat) for the competition must not use instrumental tracks with vocals.
- Participants must comply with the general regulations and the program arrangement of the Organizing Committee.
- Participants should dress neatly, appropriately in line with the content of the competition songs.
- Encourage performances with visual staging.
- Each participant is allowed to register for one entry in each category.
Timing:
- Registration period: from October 27, 2023, to November 6, 2023.
- Preliminary Round:
Estimated time for the preliminary round and final round: from November 10 to November 18, 2023 (the Center will provide specific announcements for each round).
Location: Auditorium A16, Dormitory Area A, Tạ Quang Bửu Street, Ward 6, Linh Trung Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
In case there are multiple entries registered for the competition and not enough time to organize them all in one day, the Organizing Committee will provide additional information on the timing of the preliminary round to the students via personal phone or email.
- Final Round:
Estimated time for the preliminary round and final round: from November 10 to November 18, 2023 (the Center will provide specific announcements for each round).
