Paper Summary:

The research focuses on the object detection problem in aerial images. We studied and evaluated the advanced YOLOv7 method. Based on our analysis and evaluation, we applied the Soft-NMS (Non-Maximum Suppression) technique to the post-processing stage to improve the accuracy of object detection. Experiments conducted on the UCAS Aerial Object Detection (UCAS AOD) dataset comprising 1,500 images demonstrated the effectiveness of our approach.

SOICT 2023 will be indexed by DBLP, Ei Compendex, Scopus, and Clarivate Analytics Web of Science (ISI Web of Science).
