What's happening in CS this March?
After a long wait, the CS League - the annual and renowned football tournament from the Computer Science family - has officially returned!
The tournament is organized to celebrate the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26th and to provide a sports playground for students of the Faculty of Computer Science. Additionally, it aims to discover talented players to participate in the upcoming UIT SPORTS event.
Here's a little secret: The top 2 teams will have the opportunity to participate in UIT SPORTS at the university level!
TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
- Exclusively for male students of the Faculty of Computer Science.
REGULATIONS:
- Each team must register a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 15 players.
- The number of players remains unchanged throughout the season.
- Team members do not necessarily have to be from the same CLASS or COURSE. There is no limit to the number of teams registered by one class.
- The tournament includes a maximum of 12 teams (registration will be closed once the maximum number of teams is reached).
- Matches will be played in 5-a-side football format. Depending on the number of teams (up to 12 teams), the organizers will arrange appropriate groups.
- Red and yellow cards will incur corresponding fines (70,000 VND for red card, 30,000 VND for yellow card), deducted directly from the team's security deposit.
- Late arrival of 5 minutes or more: for teams with fewer than 5 players present: considered a 0 - 3 loss; for teams with no members present: considered withdrawal from the tournament.
- Participants will receive the criteria "Good Physical Fitness" to be considered for the Excellent Student title awarded by the faculty and university.
